Whisky Glazed Ham - With Winter Warmer Smoked Garlic

1 deboned ham leg smoked small
•1/3 cup brown sugar firmly packed
•1/3 cup whisky
•1 tbs orange rind finely grated
4 – 5 Cloves of Winter Warmer Smoked Garlic – crushed and finely chopped
•1 pinch ground cloves
•1 pinch allspice
•4 slices orange
•1 bunch endive small *to decorate

STEP 1 Plant your camp oven on top of a camp stove or barbecue until it’s hot, then drop your ham in and let it go for about 20 – 30 minutes.
•STEP 2 Mix the brown sugar, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Liqueur, orange peel, ground cloves, Winter Warmer Smoked Garlic and ground allspice in a saucepan and then gently simmer on a low heat area of the barbecue until it starts to thicken.
• STEP 3 Once your sauce has started to thicken, brush or pour it all over the ham and give it about another 30 minutes.
• STEP 4 Once it is done, garnish the ham with orange slices and endive, and serve with veggies on the side.

Make sure the ham is small enough to fit into your camp oven. We use Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Liqueur as as the whiskey in this recipe.
