Super easy cheese twists - With Added Rosemary & Thyme Smoked Garlic

Ingredients

500g Jus-Rol® puff pastry
1 tablespoon milk
1 medium or large egg
225g cheese
4 cloves of Rosemary and Thyme Smoked Garlic crushed


Method

Heat the oven to 190 C / Gas 5.

Dust a wide work surface with flour. Place the pastry on the floured surface and roll until only a couple of millimetres thick. Cut around the edges to make a rectangle.

Get a small bowl or jug and whisk the egg and milk together into a pale yellow coloured mixture. Get a brush and paint a thin layer of the egg mixture over the pastry.

Sprinkle the cheese and crushed Rosemary and Thyme Smoked Garlic over half of the pastry. Fold the other half over the half that’s covered in cheese. Then press the edges down with a fork. Slice the pastry and cheese into 2cm thick strips.
Once all the pastry is cut, tightly twist them until they stay in a twist shape. Then cover them in another thin layer of egg and milk. Place them onto a baking tray with baking parchment.

Put them in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown. When you take them out you need to place them on a cooling rack.
