Garlic Rice - With Extra Hot Tikka Smoked Garlic

Smoked Garlic Shop loves this favourite simple recipe – we’ve described below using Extra Hot Tikka smoked garlic – but any flavour from our delicious range of smoked garlic can be substituted



200g (dry weight) Basmati Rice – Cooked to taste

8  –  10  cloves of Extra Hot Tikka smoked garlic – crushed

2 eggs

salt and pepper to tast

Pinch of Tikka seasoning

A good glug of Toasted Sesame oil

Fresh Coriander to garnish



Heat the oil in a large pan such as a wok

Fry the eggs stirring them to break them down into stringy pieces

Add the crushed Extra Hot Tikka smoked garlic and stir well for a minute

Add the boiled rice and stir well into the eggy mixture making sure the garlic and egg is distributed well, keep stirring so as not stick and brown.  Add salt, pepper and a pinch of tikka seasoning.

After about 5 minutes serve with your favourite curry dish and garnish with the coriander.
